Support Us
Countryside Conservancy is supported
primarily by tax-deductible donations from
private individuals. We also receive grant
support for our activities from government
sources, and from private and corporate
foundations.
There are many ways to support us! To name
just a few:
Become a Member: Our members and donors
are our most important supporters.
Countryside Conservancy is a registered
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and gifts
to the Conservancy are tax-deductible.

this link to print out a membership form
and become a member today! (form also
available in
PDF format)
Volunteer: Volunteers make so much
happen for the Conservancy. They plant
trees, monitor stream water quality, walk
Conservancy preserves, plan our events, pick
up litter, serve as Board members, and much
more! Follow
this link to print out a volunteer
application or call the office at (570)
945-6995 to find out more about volunteer
opportunities. (form also available in

Stressed out by life? Pull a
muscle playing softball? “Harmony
Restored” can set you right and benefit
the Conservancy too. When you get a
sports or deep tissue massage from
Harmony Restored, 10% of proceeds are
directed to the Countryside Conservancy
or one of several other local non-profit
organizations. You decide where you
want your donation to go. Contact
certified massage therapist Dave
Jennings at (570) 335-2283 for an
appointment at his Scranton, Moosic,
Clarks Summit or Daleville location.
Customers can enjoy the use of the

Planned Giving: The Conservancy is
inspired by those individuals who remember
us in their wills, through trusts or other
forms of planned giving . We are glad to work with
donors to explore bequests, charitable
trusts or other mechanisms.
Please call Executive Director Bill Kern at (570) 945-6995 if you are interested in
making a bequest or other planned gift to
the Conservancy.
Gifts of Stock: The Conservancy
welcomes gift of stock. If you own
stocks that have greatly appreciated in
value, making a stock gift to the
Conservancy can both qualify you for a
Federal income-tax deduction and also save
you from paying capital gains tax on the
increase in the stock's value over time.
Please call Executive Director Bill Kern
at (570) 945-6995 to get the information you
will need to make a donation of stock.
