GO GREEN BIKE TOUR 2011 



What better way to get out and experience the autumn beauty of northeast PA than on your bike?!

Join the Countryside Conservancy on Saturday, October 1st, for our second annual Go Green Bike Tour. Routes will include mountain, road and hybrid bike options that will cover portions of Lackawanna, Susquehanna & Wyoming counties in the Endless Mountains.

Registration includes detailed maps of your chosen ride, live music, hot food, t-shirts for the first 100 registrants, great raffle items, water bottles for the first 50 registrants, beautiful views and the knowledge that you're supporting your local non-profit land trust! 

When:   Saturday, October 1st, 2011
Where:   Lackawanna State Park
Time:   Check-in will be open from 7:00-10:00am
Who:   All ages and skill levels are welcomed; we even have a hiking category for non-bikers!
Cost:   $25 until 9/26
    $35 after 9/26, including day-of registration
    $35 for a parent and up to 2 children, under 12 years old

Start Times for Group Rides are as follows:

Beginner Mountain Bike - 9:30am
Intermediate Mountain Bike - 8:30am
Advanced Mountain Bike - 8:00am

Beginner Road (18.2)- 8:30am
Intermediate Road (29.3) - 8:00am
Advanced Road (metric century)- 7:30am

Trail Hike w/ Leader - 9:30am

If you are a parent riding with a child, please note the above start times if you wish to ride with any of these groups.
