On June 8, 2011, the Countryside Conservancy purchased 1,600 linear feet of Trolley Trail right-of-way in La Plume!
The parcel was purchased from Mr. Tony & Miriam Warenzak and is adjacent to Trolley Trail right-of-way that we already own. (see map below)
For anyone not familiar with the location, the green swath is where we have our "Countryside Conservancy" sign on Route 6 &11 in La Plume.
Many thanks to attorney Ty Welles for donating his time and expertise on this parcel, like he does with so much of the Trolley Trail.
And of course many thanks to Cheryl Ellsworth and her hearty band of Trolley Trailers! It sure does feel good to add another 1,600 feet of trail.
Countryside Conservancy is seeking a part-time office manager for their office on the campus of Keystone College.
